Welcome to Reality

Accomplishments:
The past week. We already started to teach in Baguio City National High School, a public school in Baguio. I was Assigned to Ma'am Dialyn A. Gorio, an English teacher in the eighth grade level. Currently, she's handling four sections namely 8-Adoration, 8- Benevolence, 8- Cooperation, and 8-Compassion. She gave me two sections to handle, the 8-Benevolence and 8-Cooperation. In order for me to orient and expose myself to my students, she gave me unrated lessons to teach given that she will observe me. After I taught, she gave me points for improvement like I need to have a louder voice and to move while teaching.

My Significant Experience:
Standing in front of high school students is a great accomplishment for me. I thought that it would never come true but it did by God's grace. Teaching them was a great privilege given to me that I have imparted something to my students.

Insights:
There is no harm in trying. Don't quit when you commit mistakes because there is always a room for improvement and if you fail, its either you choose to get back up or to stay on the ground.

Problem:
The problem that I have encountered this week was the way on how to improve my voice. My cooperating teacher that I have a soft voice and some of my students can't hear me the back. For me, I thought my voice was loud enough and it was at its maximum volume. So I'm worried on how am I suppose to make my voice even louder than its maximum volume.

Solution:
The only remedy that I could think of right now is to try to practice more in my voicing and try to walk inside the class and not staying in one place.

My Goals for Next Week:
My goals are to deliver an excellent lessons, to get the interest of my students on what I'm teaching, and to establish my stand in the class as a teacher.
