Accomplishments:
The past week has been a
very busy week for me. I had been catching up with my lessons and I also
experienced straight teaching. Since we only have limited days to complete
thirty lesson plans, I have to double my effort in doing lesson plans and
executing them in the class.
My Significant
Experience:
Last Friday, My cooperating teacher told
me to rest first since it was their compilation day of all the outputs that
they had during the second quarter. So she took over the four classes while I
was busy checking the papers of students. I did not notice that I slept over
the papers that I was checking when suddenly, my students from the class the
class that I am handling came and they were asking me if I am done checking
their papers so they can include it in their compilations. Then one of my
students who came started to cry. I was asking her the reason why she was
crying and she asked me why I have to leave City High. Why can’t I just stay
there and teach them until the end of school year. I was not able to say a
word. I just smiled at her though deep inside of me, it seems like that I want
to join her cry too. Well I told her that I have to leave because it’s a
requirement for us to teach in the private school. Despite the sorrow that I
had in this experience, it inspired to keep on doing my best; to keep on
touching lives. I’m taking every moment to teach them to the best that I can because
I know that the time will come that I have to leave them and go to a different
environment.
Insight:
“You
will only know and cherish the importance of something or some once that it is gone.”
Problems:
The problem that I’m facing at the moment is
that I lack time in completing the 30 lesson plans. I only have 24, and I hope
that I can complete that at the said deadline.
Solutions:
I’m praying earnestly that they would move the break of the
students so that we could have more rated lesson plans.
Goals for Next Week:
My
goal for this week is to complete the 30 rated lesson plans and go beyond the
30 lesson plans.
